Puppy Love…

Good monday morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I just wanted to share this project with you. I submitted this as part of my design team application to Bo Bunny.  This is one of the other lines of paper I just adore. So on to the project…It is a mini album I made for all the puppies that were part of our lives since my DH and I were married. I designed the dog house using SCAL and cut it out with my Cricut.

After the shape was cut out I attached the doggie door with an eyelet to give it the freedom to swivel around to reveal the adorable golden retriever you see there, that’s Snowden our first baby.

puppy2He was just the most loving and adorable fluff ball.

I also designed a fire hydrant to use as an embellishment on the second page which  houses our little Shiloh …

and in the last dog house is last but not least our Jetta girl! …

after all the pages were assembled I also punched holes using my crop-a-dile on the peak of the dog house and attached eyelets to each one as well then I just ran ribbon through all of them to attach it all together. Of course all the fun and adorable paper and ribbon is by Bo Bunny.

Oh yes there is also a giant bone attached to give it some fun and whimsy! yes I designed the bone as well and used SCAL and the Cricut to cut it out. :)

Ok I am off to get more paper and create…((hugs))

Cropin’ by the lake…

We had a beautiful day here today. The sun was shining and there was just enough breeze to feel alive and energized! It was a beautiful setting for the weekend crop. The view from the balcony was peaceful and I met a lot of great and wonderful ladies who definitely made the day a lot brighter. Despite some setbacks on the technical front due to computer hicccups we managed to get through it and had fun in the process. We touched on designing with the basic shapes found in the George cartridge and how much you can create with it. I wanted them to see all the hidden possibilities that were there. I also wanted to show them how vinyl works with the Cricut and just how easy it is to use. It was supposed to just give them tidbits of information to see where everyone’s interests lay. I hope that I was able to let them see things in a different way and that they walked away and learned something from it all (even if it was just a little something) All in all I would say that it was a good afternoon spent with great company.
I look forward to having more fun in the future when we can create and finish entire projects in classes to come.

Crop weekend

Crop Weekend

Posted by PaintedHands

There will be a weekend crop hosted by our local Scrapbook store Memories from the Heart and it sounds like it should bring some good times. I am going to demo the Cricut design studio and Sure Cuts A Lot. I am preparing some fun projects that I can’t wait to share with all there (and of course I will be posting some pics. here as well) on that note I have to keep on cutting and creating so I will tap to you all later and maybe I’ll see you at the crop.
