15 min card frame

Here is a quick and easy card that I made in under 15 min. using the digital card kits from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff. You can purchase the card kits at Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff or head on over to Lindsay’s Blog where she is giving away a free card kit for you to download. For this project I used the B&W elegance kit which I absolutely adore! All I did was print it out on a cream cardstock cut out the pattern and embelishments that I was going to use, along with that I also used Lindsay’s daffodil stamp printed it out and just gave it a touch of color (very quickly!) with some prisma markers and just tacked them down with dimensional adhesive to my cream card stock and Voila! super easy! for a little pop I punched two holes on the Thank You and just ran a ribbon through it tied in a knot. It literally took  less than 15 min. to make this card. I have never timed myself before and this definitely opened my eyes as to how fast I can make a card with the help of these kits. Don’t forget that the sale is ending soon at Lindsay’s shop so you better head on over there now and get your stamps because for every $5 you spend you get 1 free only until May 31st.

Buttons and Puppies what can be cuter?

So here is a scrapbookpage I created using one of the digital stamps from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff. I used one of the buttons from the babies and bows collection (which is a steal for a $1) and here is the other female in our homestead her name is Jetta (isn’t she adorable) our little man named her after the VW Jetta . ( if only they stay this small and compact)  :)

I printed six of the buttons to my desired size and colored them using my watercolor crayons, prisma markers and chalk ink pad for the edges to get the shadow effect. I cut them out used dimensional adhesive to glue them on the page and laced my ribbon around them. I think they turned out super cute. ( I already have a card idea for the same technique…I might work on that today and see if I can’t post it later…we’ll see) I absolutely adore buttons I just think they always add that pop I want to a page or card I use them all the time and with this digital stamp you don’t have to keep buying buttons you just keep printing them out as many times and in any size you want, plus you can color it any color you need. Seriously how cool is that! Head on over and check out some new things in Lindsay’s shop she added some cool vintage Alice images… you just have to see them! best $3 bucks you will spend.

Free cut file I LOVE DADDY …. Wacky Wednesday freebie

With father’s day approaching I thought I would create a cut file appropriate to the occassion. To those of you who know me you know that father’s day always brings back memories of my dad and to this day I still miss him dearly during father’s day.  I was his little girl and he did spoil me I guess (yes I am an only child) but he also taught me the meaning of the word generosity so in memory of my daddy here’s a free cut file…

I love daddy

To download the file just head on over to the FREBBIES tab ^ up above and you will see the link.

Just wanted to share a few examples of my other passion besides paper crafting and that is painting one of a kind children’s chairs. This is what keeps me busy during the year and it get’s a little crazy during the holidays (which really is good). All of my pieces are one of a kind and I love seeing people’s reactions when they find one that is just perfect for that little one in their lives.

OK so ta ta for now and MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!
