The night winds howled and the moon cast an eerie glow. This spooky ATC card was made with one of Lindsay’s new releases. The stamp is the Crow ATC and I think it is so spooky and adds just the right touch to a Halloween themed card.  This stamp is part of her new Creepy Crow Collection. To make this ATC I just printed the stamp on to some white card stock and cut out the image with my exacto knife. I then colored the image with black and brown paint to get my desired dark look and after that I cut out a piece of patterned paper to go behind the moon.

I then took a blank ATC card and wrapped it with some colored ribbon until I was happy with the color combinations then I just applied some adhesive to my stamped image and adhered it on top of the  layers of ribbon. I love the colors of the ribbon behind the image I think it sets off the stamp just right. I couldn’t go with just black and orange  becasue you know how I love to mix all colors together.

You will not believe the number of cool new stamps that Lindsay has designed. I totally love the coffee themed stamps…they are so much fun!

For my card this week I used a sketch from Inspiration Card Sketches (ICS) where by the way Lindsay is the sponsor this weeek for the prize. Make sure to check out ICS and enter your card, you never know you might be the lucky winner of some wonderful stamps!

It was fun trying to incorporate my ideas to the design of the sketch. For this card I used the polka dot coffee mug stamp along with the little sugar bowl from the coffee border stamp and last but not least the word stamp that coordinates with the set. ” How have you bean? ” so clever! :)

I printed out the images then colored them in using a combination of Prisma markers and Bic permanent markers. I printed the phrase on a piece of Cosmo Cricket paper and distressed the edges by rolling them. I then cut a small slit and inserted the navy blue piece of paper that has a circle punched out of it to give it some fun and of course you know how I love dimension so I had to make the cup POP! and for a small finishing touch I cut out the small sugar bowl that comes with the coffee jitters border stamp and Voila! a cute fun card to give to a friend. Good morning to all! I know I have been gone for a while we had our Anniversary, Dr. appointments, relatives from other countries are visiting, had meetings, getting my inventory up for the fall etc.. etc… but here I am for today’s LSS project I just did a quick LO that I have been meaning to do. It basically is an about me page. I love the way it looks I know it’s simple but it holds lots of secrets about myself :) The button is from Lindsay’s stamp set for the  darling little ones “Babies and Bows Collection”. I just enlarged it and then printed it out. I used watercolor to color the image and I was trying for a worn out faded looking button.

I know this is a little short but I just heard some news that really saddens my heart and I just am not as chatty.  One of the original Design team member of LSS has passed away unexpectedly due to an accident, my heart and prayers go out to her husband and kids. Life goes by so fast and is so fragile that’s why we have to treasure every moment and live life to the fullest.

Happy smiles to all of you today :) it never ceases to amaze me just how fast a week goes by now that I am older. I remember when I was a child the grown up’s always said time goes by so much faster when you get older and boy where they right!

My project for today features a new gorgeous stamp from Lindsay’s shop. It’s just one of her new designs isn’t it just beautiful! I love dragonfly’s don’t you? they’re wings are so colorful and delicate. So for this card I printed the stamp out twice and colored it in with my prisma colored markers. I then cut them out and layered them (becasue you know how I love dimension and using my dimensional adhesives :)) but before I layered the images I did apply some glitter to the wings to give it that sparkle. The gerbera daisy that this beautiful winged creature is resting on was cut using my Cricut and my Sure Cuts A lot program. After cutting the daisy and assembling it I added a dew drop to the middle and just fluffled the petals up for more dimension. The scalloped edge was made using a fiskars border punch. Hope all of you are doing well this morning. I have titled this ATC Let your Dreams take flight, because there is someting in the works here behind the scenes that I am soooo excited to take flight but that will come soon but not right now. I am beat, but a good beat. I actually am typing this at a very very late hour and just scheduling it to post becasue if I sleep now I don’t think I’ll wake up in time tommorow. I had such an exciting week…why? you ask well I attended a business conference called Simply Successful. I know sounds boring right but guess what if was for……SCRAPBOOKING! it was like an intimate setting of CHA. I got to meet and talk to some wonderful companies one on one and see their new releases up close and hear some sound business advice from some amazing manufacturers in the industry. I will blog about it when I get some rest and post the pictures but just to start these are some of the companies that were there …..  Cosmo Cricket :) ,BoBunny,Sizzix,Moxie,KI Memories and so much more. Yes you will want to stay tuned I got silly and giddy at times. OK now on to our regularly scheduled Thursday program.

I created this ATC card as part of a Going Green ATC swap I am praticipating in over at SisTV. I used the beautiful butterfly stamp that Lindsay created. Since the theme is going green I printed out the stamp on part of a page of an old book that has seen better days. I love making ATC’s because it really lets you open up your mind to create. I used my Bic markers along with some Copics to color it in.  and layered it along on my ATC. I don’t know about you but all the school supplies are out and actually some are all gone around here. Back to school shopping is in full force and once again I find myself thinking back to when I got to pick out new school supplies for school…I loved it! I was always so excited to pick out new pencils and notebooks. I always loved the way the lined pages looked when they were crisp and clean just waiting for me to write or draw on. Ahhhhh yes and now I am school shopping for my DS and I see the excitement in his eyes…to be a kid again (sigh) well that is what inspired my creation for today’s project for Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff. I created a project that is suitable for a teacher or your favorite administrator or school faculty member. We have some friends in the school system that really devotes their lives to children and I thought I would like to give them just a little something for the start of the new school year. :)

I used the shopping bags stamp and the school books stamp for this project. As always I start out by printing out the images to my desired size, then I color them in and this time I used my Prisma markers and Bic markers together to achieve the effect I wanted I started withthe schoolbooks and before I printed out my shopping bags I just added some text to it “Back 2 School” to give it some fun. I printed the shopping bag stamp on kraft paper to give it that brown bag look plus by doing this it saves you from having to color the entire image.  All I did with the bags was added a few touches of color for shadow and depth and after coloring I just cut out the images and layered them on the lid of my box. For the rounded piece of black paper all I did was cut a circle freehand and I knew I wanted the lettering to resemble chalk and to achieve that I wrote the alphabet along the edge with my white gel pen, then I just added some treats in the box.

This can be left on their desk and the kids won’t see the candy :)

I really LOVED the way this turned out that I am making it into a LO as well!  so come and play with some stamps and create something FUN!

Good monday morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I just wanted to share this project with you. I submitted this as part of my design team application to Bo Bunny.  This is one of the other lines of paper I just adore. So on to the project…It is a mini album I made for all the puppies that were part of our lives since my DH and I were married. I designed the dog house using SCAL and cut it out with my Cricut.

After the shape was cut out I attached the doggie door with an eyelet to give it the freedom to swivel around to reveal the adorable golden retriever you see there, that’s Snowden our first baby.

He was just the most loving and adorable fluff ball.

I also designed a fire hydrant to use as an embellishment on the second page which  houses our little Shiloh …

and in the last dog house is last but not least our Jetta girl! …

after all the pages were assembled I also punched holes using my crop-a-dile on the peak of the dog house and attached eyelets to each one as well then I just ran ribbon through all of them to attach it all together. Of course all the fun and adorable paper and ribbon is by Bo Bunny.

Oh yes there is also a giant bone attached to give it some fun and whimsy! yes I designed the bone as well and used SCAL and the Cricut to cut it out. :)

Ok I am off to get more paper and create…((hugs))

I can’t believe how fast the days go by. This week just came and went I don’t even know where it went. This morning was just a crazy morning here at our household my DS decided it would be great to mix paint along with breakfast literally so that was a mess you didn’t even want to see! needless to say I was running like crazy to the computer trying to get this post up, after cleaning up the mess. I sure do hope that, that is not an indication for  the day ahead. :) I guess I don’t even really recall everything that happened YIKES!

Well since the calendar say’s it’s Thursday I guess it’s thursday and I have another LO for you using Lindsay’s Stamps. This week I decided to use the birthday cake which is so scrumptious!  and the ABC cursive lettering block from the school card kit.

Don’t forget that we have another fun freebie among the design team members so make sure to make your rounds and leave some sweet comments while you are browsing. I printed the image on Bazzil dots paper (one of my fav. cardstock papers) then used my trusty watercolor crayons and my aqua brush to color it in. I then printed out the ABC ruled image from Lindsay’s Schoolcard kit and just ran it through the sewing machine for some fun stitching. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already this week just flew by. Since it’s Thursday that means it’s time to post my project for LSS (Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff) for this week I choose to work with the beautiful oriental poppy stamp.

Poppies are one of my favorite flowers. I have always had them in our garden in each house we lived in. Awwww isn’t my little guy cute in his bee outfit? With having a boy I really don’t have a lot of opportunity to use flowers on my LO’s so when I see an opportunity I seize it. What could be more perfect than this picture to use with flowers. To make this LO I first printed the Poppy stamp in 3 different sizes. I printed them out on a thin velum paper because it reminded me of that paper like quality that these flowers posses. After printing I colored them using Bic permanent markers (this was the first time I used just these markers entirely for coloring) I usually like to mix things when coloring. I loved the way they worked on the velum paper, the colors were clear and vibrant. After coloring all the images I then cut out each one and assembled it on my LO to see how I wanted my picture positioned. From there I added some stitching,paper embelishments and some journaling around the edges of the flowers.
